How to choose the right ceiling fan

Choosing the right ceiling fan can save you energy and lower your overall energy bills in both the winter and the summer.

Ceiling fans should be located in the middle of the room at least 7 feet from the floor. If your ceiling fan is situated in a large room with high ceilings, you will want an extension pole to produce the proper air flow.

Room size Recommendations

10 x 10' Room = 38" to 48" Fan

15' x 15' Room = 52" to 56" Fan

Remember, a ceiling fan does not raise or lower the temperature, it just makes air flow and feel more comfortable.
