Stone

Stone is a natural product that comes in many forms. It can be crushed, whole, sheer, slate, custom and hand chiseled. It is used as a building material that is usually shaped for a specific purpose or look. Brick is considered a composite stone where as slate is a natural stone.

Incorporating stone into a home improvement project can add a certain elegance, warmth and richness. Stone can be part of your mantle, your exterior walls, and even your countertop. Ther are many uses for stone and it is an essential part of many building projects.
