Drywall Tools

A complete set of drywall tolls is recommended when tackling any home improvement drywall project. Here are the standard tools used in the trade.

A Taping Knife is used to apply joint compound and joint tape. This is the first step in the drywall finishing process and often the most important. A 5" or 6" drywall taping knife as they are called is what most professionals use. The 5" may be a bit harder to find in your home improvement warehouse, but normally is available from a drywall supply company.
