French Drain

French drains are normally found in and or around most homes that have basements or issues with grade and water run off.

A french drain is basically a ditch filled with gravel or some type of perforated pipe. French drains redirect water away from an area to prevent ground and surface water from penetrating or damaging building foundations.

French drains may also be used in relation to septic tanks, sewage treatment or behind retaining walls to relieve ground water pressure.
