Maintaining your deck is pretty easy to do as long as you follow a few simple rules.

1. Keep your deck clean as dirt and debris may stain your deck or cause undesireable marks in the finish.

2. Maintain a protective coating on your deck that repells moisture and harmful ultraviolet rays.

3. Check for cracks or any shifting of your deck construction that might cause significant damage or safety hazards.

A well maintained deck can extend the life of your deck considerably and offer trouble free use for many years.
