Concrete Finishing

Concrete Finishing

After concrete has been poured and placed it needs to be finished or smoothed for a consistent finish.

Concrete such as slabs, driveways, highways, or patios will need finishing for a better appearance. Concrete slabs can be finished in many ways including color finishing, texture finishing, or pattern stamp finishing. Uneven surfaces may require additional contouring or screeding for proper pitch. Most surfaces can be floated or troweled for proper elevation.

Trowling or floating can be done with a bull float or trowel which is dragged over the concrete surface in a back and forth motion then advanced forward until a mooth finish is achieved.
