Concrete

Concrete is a construction material that consists of Portland cement, some type of aggregate (generally sand or gravel) and of course water.

Concrete hardens after mixing due to a chemical process called hydration. Water reacts with the cement, which hardens, bonding the other components together creating a stone-like substance.

Concrete is used to make pavements, building structures, foundations, roads, bridges, parking structures, block walls and footings for many applications including; gates, fences, pilaster and poles.
