After concrete has been poured and placed it needs to be finished or smoothed for a consistent finish.

Concrete such as slabs, driveways, highways, or patios will need finishing for a better appearance. Concrete slabs can be finished in many ways including color finishing, texture finishing, or pattern stamp finishing. Uneven surfaces may require additional contouring or screeding for proper pitch. Most surfaces can be floated or troweled for proper elevation.

Concrete must be formed in order to retain it's shape. This is done very simply by constructing boards or metal forms in a desired pattern. Once the forms are in place and the proper base materials are in place the concrete can be poured and finished. Once the concrete had cured the forms can be removed.

Concrete can be shaped, molded and cut like any material suitable for cutting, but a special diamond blade must be used. Due to the hardness of the finished concrete a diamond blade is required to cut the material. The blade is attached to a hand held or mechanical unit and then cut much like any other material.
