Brick

Brick is an stone used for many application including construction. Brick is made by forming clay into rectangular shaped blocks which are then hardened in a kiln or sun drying.

Bricks have been used as early as 2500 B.C. by Egyptians, Romans and inhabitants of the ancient world.

Bricks have many uses including brick walkways, patios, facades, and ornamantal use. Brick is very durable and small enough to handle and transport.

Bricks are also used to line furnaces which are used in metallurgy and glass production.

If your trying to achieve an aged or worn look then you may want to choose a used brick. Used brick generally comes from an old building or factory and sold at supply yards. There are also companies that manufacture brick that has the appearance of being used.
